Jakub Jessa is an analyst at the Michał Boym Institute for Asian and Global Studies, specializing in political processes in South and Southeast Asia. His work focuses particularly on the domestic politics of Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Bangladesh. He holds a degree in International Relations from the University of Warsaw. His academic interests include forced migration, state crisis-management policies, and the regional dimension of international cooperation in the governance of refugee populations.
